Gold Curiosities
A vintage jewellery brand with over two centuries of history in its pieces deserved an identity to match.
Two centuries of craft. An identity to match.
Gold Curiosities already had a logo, but not much beyond that. The business had grown to cover jewellery sales, repairs, restoration, resizing, and bespoke design — and the brand needed to reflect the full breadth and quality of what they offered, in a way that made sense to customers at a glance.
The creative direction is classic, elegant, and feminine throughout. Typography leans into delicate serif letterforms with subtle flourishes and fine decorative details that feel personal and full of craft. The palette is warm and refined: soft creams and off-whites as a base, muted olive greens and rich browns for depth, with pops of vintage red and dusky rose adding femininity and romance.
Supporting elements bring the vintage aesthetic further forward: fine line illustrations, ornate stamp-style graphics, and botanical and nature-inspired motifs including swallows, stars, and florals. The website was built fully responsive with a gallery, contact form, SEO optimisation, and e-commerce functionality. The project also included a complete social media strategy covering content pillars, monthly content themes, and tone of voice guidance.
