Brad and Kay needed their brand to finally look like the team they'd become: professional, creative, and anything but boring.
A brand as bold as the team behind it.
We Are Jungle had built a strong reputation as a Portsmouth web design studio but the brand wasn't keeping pace. They needed a new identity that felt confident and polished without losing the personality that made them who they were.
The existing monkey icon stayed, but became something much more. I developed Julius, a fully custom mascot character designed not just for the logo but as a brand personality in his own right. Illustrated across multiple poses, Julius could show up across social, print, and key brand touchpoints as a fourth team member with real character.
The wider identity pairs bold, clean sans-serif headings with a typeface that has a hand-crafted, textured quality for warmth and humanity. The palette brings together bold blue and soft pale pink: digital confidence balanced with genuine approachability.
For the launch, we planned the Julius is Coming campaign: a teaser rollout of posters and stickers across Portsmouth with nothing but a date, a url, and a mystery. Local news picked it up. Social media followed. The launch party brought together close business contacts to mark the start of a new chapter.
